Are you feeling disconnected from your inner guidance, your inner power?
You are not alone. It is so easy to feel disconnected both internally and externally in the world right now.
There is so much going on vying for our attention, our time, our resources, and our energy.
Distractions that bring up emotions such as fear, lack, lack of trust, and lack of self-belief which has the ability to disconnect us from our inner guidance system, our source of inner power if we allow it.
Our energy can feel scattered, depleted, and lack focus.
But, luckily it is just as easy to rebuild inner connection, and build trust and belief in yourself!
It is simply a matter of dedicating a little time and effort each day to strengthen the inner bond.
Aside from the powerful practices of meditation and breath work, here are 3 simple ways that work to develop inner connection, and help build trust and self-belief in your own inner guidance system:
Practice asking for a word each day. Ask your heart and soul to give you a word or mantra they want you to know upon waking each day. That word of encouragement will uplift and start your day infused with positive energy and inner connection. Practice daily, and keep trying for a few days if you get nothing at first. Release control, allow yourself to receive, and trust what you receive.
If you have oracle cards, pull a card before bedtime to help bring you back to a happier state, and feel inwardly connected before going to sleep, especially if your day was challenging. Ask your heart or soul for a message of love and support. You can even carry it over into dream time by asking your heart or soul to expand on the message in your dreams, or through journaling before going to bed.
Before sleep, and when you wake up, call all parts of yourself back to you. When we worry about the past or future we are not fully present, our energy is scattered and unfocused. To create a better future for ourselves we must be fully present in the now moment, fully focused, connected, and self-aware. So, command or instruct all parts of you (your soul energy) to come back to you to be present, centered, and connected. Place your hands on your heart and feel your power, your presence, and the energy of who you are.
The goal is to stay grounded in our physical body, to feel safety in our body, to feel connected to this physical life while also honoring our inner spiritual connection to our Self and Source energy.
One thing I’ve learned through Reiki is that keeping things simple works best, and self discipline to practice daily is how we strengthen our inner channels of communication and both inner and outer connection.
